The objective:
To educate and motivate local citizens to increase their daily physical activity in an effort to create a happier, healthier and active community. This was also an opportunity to showcase the cooperative partnership between six local municipal governments within a region of Atlantic Canada. The brand Active Pictou County was created as the driving force for this initiative.

The Need:
Our client required a web presence that was both scalable and easy to update by their own staff.  They wanted a simple solution with dynamic features and Web 2.0 graphics.

The Challenge:
Active Pictou County is a non-profit organization with a modest budget and no in-house technical staff. They also challenged us to ensure the site was scalable. The site needed it to be very intuitive in the way it uploaded news items, articles, and fresh information.  

The Solution: SwiftEdit© CMS
We addressed the client's needs using our proprietary SwiftEdit CMS © (Content Management System).  With SwiftEdit the client can easily manipulate and update text, add pages, images, and links, all from their own office. They no longer have to contract external web help for these services, saving substantial time and costs. Webbuilders was able to design a graphically pleasing interface with a visual 'WOW' factor.
